You’ve selected a brand-new air conditioning system and you are ready to prepare for installation. So, what should you expect at the installation appointment?

First, there are a couple things you can do ahead of time to ensure the installation appointment goes well. Make sure the area where the air conditioning system will be situated is clear. This includes an open path so the installers don’t come across obstacles when moving the equipment to the final spot. This includes clearing the yard of any tools, toys, sticks and leaves.

If you have pets, make sure they are in a kennel, crate or contained in a separate area to help guarantee it’s a safe environment for the technician and your pet.

One benefit of working with Controlled Comfort HVAC on your air conditioning installation is that our professionals will take the time to walk you through your new system. You can ask as many questions as you want during the installation. We understand how big of an investment this is and how critical the air conditioner is to your home comfort. Once the system is installed, the technician will perform testing to make sure it’s working correctly. We’ll share all the features of your new system and provide recommendations on how to achieve the optimum efficiency.

While the technician will review the features, we suggest that you take the time to review the owner’s manual to become more familiar with your heating and cooling system. And store your manual in a safe place for future reference.

We’re here to help you, whether you have questions about your air conditioner after it has been installed or you simply need to arrange routine maintenance to make sure it continues to run efficiently–you can count on us.
